Another K3B Question

I recently installed a clean version of SuSE 9.1.

Before this, I was able to burn CD's flawlessly with k3B. However, now when I burn audio cd's (havent tried data yet) it will burn about 80% of the cd. When it gets to this point, the buffer will drop to about 1-4%, and just crawl. All cd activity will stop as well.

I don't know what caused this, it was working fine before I reinstalled?

Any ideas? What error messages/information would help?

I have never ever heard of that happening before. This is an old Windows solution :-P, but have you tried uninstalling k3b and cdrecord and whatever other programs it uses and reinstalling??? Other than that I'm not sure...weird....I used SuSE for a long time and never had a problem like that.
