amsn like ymeessenger


i am behind proxy the ymesenger do not works good in proxy
automatic logoff after some time

and i have try to use gaim and kapatte (some thing like that) do not work

i only found amsn wroks nice to me (amsn.sf.net)


my question is there any amsn like ymessenger with that u can use normally yahoo

Which versions of these IM clients are you using? Newer versions should get through the proxy system with no problems. Especially GAIM, which has settings specifically for proxies.

Kopete is an IM client you would want to use. It is compatable with all clients and with msn and those it even tells you when you receive new mail, when contacts log on etc. It even works for irc if you really want, but for that it is not nearly as advanced as more popular programmes such as x-chat.
