look i know similar problems has been faced many times by the members of LQ, but this is an issue that evolved after all such configurations.

i am giving you a series of commands that i have executed....

to enable rpm fusion:-

# rpm -Uvh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-
free-release-stable.noarch.rpm

# rpm -Uvh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfr...ora/rpmfusion-
nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm

to install gstreamer

# yum install gstreamer gstreamer-plugins-bad gstreamer-plugins-ugly

to install amarok

# yum install amarok phonon-backend-gstreamer

these are the things that i did and still i could not play mp3 files...

plz tell me why???
and how can i solve it????????

Have you installed a package called something like: amarok-engine-xine? I can't tell youo what it's called in your distro because I use a deb-based distro but I assume you are capable of doing a search to find out what your package is called and then executing something like
Code:
sudo yum install amarok-engine-xine
or whatever it's called in Fedora.
