Alternative to wget?

Earlier today while I was in work I downloaded 1.3 GB of a 1.5 GB zip archive using the Win32 port of wget (version 1.9).

Now wget is refusing to resume the download with "wget -c" (the server definitely supports resuming), which I presume is due to wget having issues with large files. Does anybody know of another command line download tool that could pick up where wget left off? I do have access to Linux again now, a colleague had a copy of Knoppix 3.8 in his bag.

You could also try curl.
