Question ALSA configuration problem

can't run alsa driver with alsa-lib!

I have Linux 2.6.15.2 and ALSA (driver, lib, utils) 1.0.10rc3
this driver is built in the kernel.

I don't wont to use modules.
make menuconfig
then i put * to ALSA and my driver.

Compilation OK
at start up i see

Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.10rc3 (Mon Nov 07 13:30:21 2005 UTC).

ALSA device list:

#1: tlv_driver
(this is the name of my driver)

I have devices in /dev/snd/
pcmC0D0c, pcmC0D0p ...

when i try
cat pcmC0D0c, cat pcmC0D0p, cat controlC0D0 my driver runing

but i can ran my driver with alsa-lib!

aplay

ALSA lib pcm.c:2099snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default
aplay: main:542: audio open error: No such file or directory

alsactl or alsamixer
ALSA lib control.c:817snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL hw:0
alsactl: set_controls:1088: snd_ctl_open error: No such file or directory

I think somethink wrong with alsa configuration.
After alsa-lib instalation configuration file is in /share/alsa/alsa.conf

I try
to copy /share/ folder to /usr/
to create ~/.asoundrc
to create /etc/asound.conf
to delete all /share/ folders

but no reaction.

what is wrong with my alsa?
I think that alsa don't know, where are configuration files.
and don't use it.

What to do?

Looks like your missing pcm.c and control.c. Try
Code:
find control.c
and
Code:
find pcm.c
in the terminal. If you have those files on your computer, your right, it is a configuration problem, if not, you'll need those files.
