A DSL pci board? And advice. :-)

Can't think of where else to start. So.... I'm looking at putting together a Linux box - webserver, firewall, router, etc. I'd like to replace a Toshiba Magnia SG20. I'd also like to replace the router that was supplied by the telco co. and has this funky, geewiz, do it 'our way' config webpage. To that end I'd like to plug my DSL line into this box and do iptables via rc3.d.

You should consider about a external firewall app like IPCop.
I my opinion setup should be as follows:
DSL-Modem -> Firewall -> Sever.

dsl board suggestions = anything on the ipcop hcl.

stup instructions = downlaod ipcop, burn disk, insert disk, follow onscreen instructions

i am a big fan of ipcop. i wanted to do exactly the kind of thing you want to do. after much faffing around, i set up ipcop and it did just about everything network-router-firewall i had wanted (and quite a lot more too).

I was thinking IpTables - will look into IPCop.
Any words of wisdom on a DSL board? and config...
