I set up apache2, php5, php5-mysql and mysql-server on my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I tested it and works well. Assuming I know programming with Php and mysql, What possible things can i do with my server? How can i build a website and allow the outside world access it using a domain name? Any suggestions on how to's..or tutorial links will be appreciated. Thank you.

Anything you want, from websites, to mail server, chat servers, there's LOADS of things you can do, what do you want to do.
Register a domain name, learn about DNS, learn how to configure your ISP router to pass-through port 80 requests and probably also how to deal with dynamic DNS updates when your ISP IP release expires. As you said "Assuming I know programming with Php and mysql" then use those to create your website, or use something like WordPress and see how that uses PHP and a database to generate sites.

First part of all this is deciding what actually interests you now. There are thousands of "how-to" pages around the internet that cover just about anything, and if you get stuck or onece you've decided, you can always ask here for further more specific help.
