synaptic package manager for centos 5.5


Hi
whether i can get synaptic pacakge manager for centos 5.5
im getting synaptic pacakge manager for ubuntu 10.04 and fedora i could int find it for centos 5.5 can somebody help me where i can get synaptic package for centos

don't. there's no need, just use the standard yum tools, with their equally silly gui if you really need it. synaptic is really for deb packages, not rpm. you can get it at rpmforge if you really have to, but clearly you don't.

"Apt for rpm"

To use apt / synaptic, the repositories must be "apt repositories".

There used to be apt repos for CentOS 4.x i386.

There is no "apt repo" for CentOS 5. AFAIK.
