Hi

I am traying to using suse linux 10.2 server for windows client backup.
i have configured the server with samba it was working fine but since few days this server hanging when i am creating users in samba and when giving the command smbpasswd -a username

or copying the data by #tar -xvf dback.tar

so my friend told me reconfigure the server.I would like to know it is require to reconfigure.

I am traying to configure with other pc copied all created users also showing users in samba but it it not connecting.
"system error 53 occured"

first is this "OpenSUSE 10.2 ? -- free
or
"SUSE Enterprise Linux Server 10 service pack 2" ( SELS 10 sp2) -- NOT free

they are two VERY different operating systems

OpenSUSE 10.2 has been dead for a very long time
since " November 30th 2008"
