As this format does not encrypt,is it safe to use in the environment like squid+router server needs to be authenticated by windows 2003 AD? This question has raised.Because I am planning to use domain login credential to authenticate users when they browse.

Ok, so as EricTRA told you, there are many how-tos on how to let Squid use Active Directory, and he even gave you a link to the Squid documentation on how to do it. And we don't know what's safe in your environment, because you haven't TOLD us anything about it. If you're using AD now, then you've got the documentation that tells you how to use AD with Squid. If you don't want to use that, then pick something else...there's not much else we can tell you.
