SENDMAIL SERVER - "Status=sent" but unable to retrieve on user inbox (FEDORA CORE 9)

Hi guys,

I'm new here... I've browsed tons of website for help but i can't seem to find anyone who's experiencing same problems as I do.

We're running a sendmail server on a fedora core 9 which we've configured recently. The problem is, the server is working fine but there are some e-mails that enter our server but doesn't get forwarded to the user.

Here it says "stat=Sent" but nothing from the above mail address has been received on the client's inbox. We've experienced this with Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express and Thunderbird alike so far with Two(2) of our user accounts.

I hope you could help me out on this one.. or point me at the right direction, i'm at a loss.

Thanks in advance!
Charles

The sending sendmail says the message has been sent and your users say they're not received. The 2 ways I can think of to diagnose would be to monitor the receiving mail server (also sendmail?) and see if it is receiving the message. The other is to use a tool like wireshark to monitor the traffic and see what is happening over the wires.

It's worth asking the users whether they have any mail monitoring utilites like spamassassin or clamav (or similar products) that may have deleted the email because of the way that they're configured.
