Mass emails??? In your other threads, you kind of hint at this, too. Chances are, Yahoo is blocking you for being a spammer. If you're not, contact Yahoo, and get them to add a rul to their allow lists, to let your emails through.

Hello
I am saying mass emails did i said that its spam ?
Just for more clarification there are going to be more than 500 mails per day. for the same i am looking for the rules which decide if mail is spam or not, there were few things which did your gmail and it worked fine similarly i am asking if there is for yahoo ?

hope this time you will comment if you are having any solution or suggestion on this not for just increasing your post count. As according to me this forum is for ppl who are seeking for help and advice in setup or issues. Last time also administrator pointed you out for commenting out unnecessary.

jindalarpan, Your response to TBone made me cringe from the disrespect. Before you sling comments like that around again you might want to look at just how much he does to help people like YOU. And yes, I in both this post and your others, I too noticed the MASS EMAILS and the volume of them you are sending and my first thought was that it sounds dubious. Whether or not they are truly SPAM lies in the eyes of the recipient, so I will drop that discussion and provide you with the following suggestion: Unless you are using a static IP address and have a properly configured MX server with SPF records, mail systems like Yahoo WILL consider your mail to be junk. The problem is that the vast majority of users don't run valid email domains and when the proper mail server credentials are lacking, the SPAM filters assume that it is a compromised system. Try running a service such as checkdns against your domain to see if it reports any errors or warnings as these may contribute to your problem.

Hi
first of tanks for the reply and comments.
Also just to add ending words to TBOne's topic which you have mentioned. I dont want to insult him or do any disrespect to him. He might have done great work in this forum but his comments and replies were bit rude which i think anyone would have not liked it personally.
Also related to mails issues in the earlier thread also i have clearly written what is required and i am not spamming.
Hope this will help in putting a end to this discussion over here.

I don't see anything that TB0ne posted indicating you were sending SPAM or not. All that was stated is if you are sending mass mails Yahoo might have you flagged as a spammer, which would be why they are blocking the mail you send. If it is legitimate mail there should really be no problem to go and either have an exception made or take steps to have your domain/server removed from any blacklist.

A first step would be to do a check and make sure your server is not blacklisted using something like www.mxtoolbox.com. Chances are if your mail server isn't setup 100% properly (MX records, PTR records, etc.) AND you send any significant volume of mail you are on a blacklist. Finding out which one and getting off it is a good first step.

ComputerErik summed it up well. And what, exactly, do you expect people to think, when you talk about "mass emails", sending through Yahoo, Gmail etc.??? That sounds very much like a spam emails. As I said, if you're NOT a spammer, contact Yahoo and get on their whitelist. If you're able to send to Gmail, then you've obviously got the connectivity piece to the internet sorted out, and can process messages. Yahoo is then blocking you, and there's nothing Linux related about it. Bear in mind, all we've got is your WORD that you're not sending spam. We don't know you, what you're doing, etc. All we have it what you post, and it sounds suspicious. Your posts are hard to read and understand, since they're not written very clearly.

I made no "rude" comments to you in any way. If you think I did, then you're clearly not reading what's written, or understanding it. Either way, too bad. It's a public forum, and people can make posts and ask questions, even if you don't like them. If you think I'm rude or out of line, then tell a moderator, and get them to step in.
