hi,

how to download rpm packages ?

can anybody give the link to download rpm packages for linux servers ?

how to install rpm packages ?

Software packages installation

Zypper for Suse or anyother package management tool for other disti (dpkg, apt-get, rpm). Some are graphic also (see in your distribution Software packages installation, normally an application you have access to in the launch menu)

Or you can download RPM packages from http://rpm.pbone.net and install the packages by executing:
Code:
rpm -i package_name.rpm
on your server.

1. which distro are you running
2. why do you want to know

Normally you'd use the yum tool, as this will automatically install required dependencies, otherwise you'll be at it forever ..
