Proftpd with Active Directory Users

Proftpd with Active Directory Users

Can anybody please enlighten me in this?
The System Debian Etch is successfully domain member
using SAMBA/WINBIND and KRB5. So via ssh and trough samba AD Users
are able to logon to this system but I didn't figured it out yet how this setup works with proftpd?
