postfix mail to postfix +mysql mail

Iíve set up a postfix email server with mysql support that sends and receive perfectly, i had a normal postfix server before and had lots of email with that. i was wondering if there was any way to forward the email or save them to the /vmail box were emails were stored now, i.e. log into the Unix account and go into terminal and type "[user@Server ~]$ mail" i can see the emails i had before but not sure where I can go from here. Any help thanks.
