nagios - schedule downtime for a service on ALL hosts via script?

Can this be done? Lets say there's a cluster of dozens of web servers. I want to write a script the puts HTTP and HTTPS in scheduled downtime for all the hosts. They will not go into the UI and click thru all the servers and schedule downtime one by one...

I cant remember it anymore but on nagios gui i think you can just schedule the alarms that will trigger a problem and schedule it that it will not check that services or will disable the alarm on that times
