LogitechMediaServer corrupt after shutdown.

Running CentOS 6.5 64-bit.

I think this is something I may have done. My server just runs unattended and I do very little to it at any time. I do not usually connect a monitor or a keyboard. This evening I decided to change a faulty CD-ROM drive. I shut the system down. I think this may have been the problem because without a monitor I could not be hundred percent sure that it had shut down.

Anyway is seem to reboot and work normally except for my LogitechMediaServer.

When I run "service squeezeboxserver stop" I get the message "failed"
when I run "service squeezeboxserver stop" I get this message
Code:
Starting Squeezebox Server: Unable to read prefs from /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/server.prefs : Usage: YAML::XS::LibYAML::Load(yaml_sv) at /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/CPAN/YAML/XS.pm line 48.
Can someone give me some pointers as to what's going on and how I can fix this. I have tried erasing and reinstalling but that doesn't get me anywhere.

Thanks,
Robert….
