How to update apache version from 2.4.6 to any higher version

Hello, I have apache (httpd.x86_64 2.4.6-89.el7.centos.1) installed on CentOS 7 server.

I wish you update it to latest stable version preferabally httpd 2.4.42 or higher to resolve the some of the vulnerabilities that have been reported.

CVE-2017-7679:-
CVE-2016-2161:
CVE-2019-10098,
CVE-2020-1934,
CVE-2020-1934,
CVE-2020-1927.

Can you please share the steps to follow to update the apache version to resolve the vulnerabilities.

I can currently see httpd.x86_64 2.4.6-90.el7.centos as the available version for installation. Please suggest on how do i update to latest version.

If I remember well the official versionn is 2.4.6. So probably you need to download the source and build it for yourself (if you want a newer version).
but would be better to read this first: https://forums.centos.org/viewtopic.php?t=72853

Actually, this and similar questions were asked (and answered) many times at forums.centos.org. I believe this was the latest incarnation. I also find this thread rather instructive: https://forums.centos.org/viewtopic.php?t=73624
