how to allow teamviewer access to users using squid 2.6 proxy
Dear Experts,
i have squid 2.6 server running on rhel5. by default teamviewer access is deny. i want to allow access of teamviewer but not getting any idea. please anyone have faced same problem or have solution of it please help me.
How is it being blocked by IP address, or by port. I am guessing by the port assignment. You will need to configure squid to allow the port(s) that teamviewer requires through to those that require the use of teamviewer.
It is being blocked by ip address for all sites and allowed few sites
Thanks for nice guidence, it has been blocked by ip address and users are given only few site access and all are blocked by squid. so please help mehow to allow teamviewer to users.
Well I am not familiar with what IP addresses and ports teamviewer uses, you would need to determine that. I might be able to assist if you could provide an error that teamviewer is producing, but I cannot guarantee that. It might be blocking the IP addresses that teamviwer is trying to connect to, or blocking the temviewer server, make sure those IP addresses are allowed. Also check your allowed port settings make sure you are not blocking the port that teamviewer uses. Make sure it is also not your firewall blocking it.
