Dnsmasq and MX records?

Does anyone know if (and how) to get dnsmasq to use a text file (like hosts) to serve MX records?

I see that dnsmasq has some MX startup options but if I read correctly, they either return the dnsmasq machine's url or ONE other machine's URL.

I need MX records for multiple machines for different domains....

It's been 3 days, so here's my :
  1. I don't think so. One of the beauties of dnsmasq is its simplicity, I think it is not a complete DNS server, but only for IP's on our LAN's.

  2. What research have you done?
    What do the docs say?
Of course I'd like to be wrong, & I'd like to know the answer to your Q.
