Centos 5.8 doesn't see NIC

Hello

I have Centos 5.8. I know it is old, but due to one legacy application, this specific server can't be migrated for now.

I imported OVF file from other VMWare and imported in new VMWare. I can bring up this VM, but I can't see network interfaces on it.

When I assign 2 NIC from VMWare for this VM and reboot, I can't see them in ifconfig. I tried "ifup eth0" , but no luck. But I think OS can see nic, because if I run "lspci -nn | grep net" , I see both entries like this --
Code:
03:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: VMware VMXNET3 Ethernet Controller [15ad:07b0] (rev 01)
This is old version of Centos, so I don't have /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
I tried rebooted VM, but no luck. In ifconfig I can see lo0 and sit0.

Can somebody give some options to troubleshoot it?

Thanks

Update ----
Had to install VMware tool and then it was good. Probably server was missing VMXNET3 drivers.
