Question

I've managed to join SMABA PDC box into it's DOMAIN:
Code:
installer@kilimanjaro:~$ sudo net rpc join -d10 -S KILIMANJARO -U root 2>log.txt
Enter root's password:
Joined domain MOUNTAINS.
installer@kilimanjaro:~$
The debug level is set to 10, so one can see errors, which still reside while joining into domain - attached txt file.
But, when I try to join Windows 7 machine to Linux SAMBA PDC (I'tweaked wins 7 registry as instructed in http://www.1stbyte.com/2009/05/31/jo...-to-samba-pdc/), I get error, which shown in attached screenshot. Why am I getting this error?

you can use
#getsebool -a | grep samba
to see what selinux policies are associated with samba
# setsebool your policy on
to set it allow in selinux policy
(hope this helps)

Did not help, but I've managed to join windows 7 machine to SAMBA PDC !!! I had Windows 7 Service netlogon.exe setup as my account ran it, not Local Network Service, but now I cannot logon into domain with my username (I've added my username via smbuseradd), I get following error at Windows 7 login screen:
Quote:
The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain controller failed.
Offtopic: How do I take screenshot of Windows Logon Error, since PrtScreen does not work? No one knows?
