Bad packet length error when using ssh to virtual systems
I have a very reproducible Bad packet length issue when I ssh to the virtual systems on my host gateway.
I have a new CentOS 6.2 server with 2 physical net cards (one WAN and one is LAN via a bridge)... providing NAT to the local network. I have multiple virtual systems running on this server. Each is connected to the LAN via a bridge to the physical LAN nic.
I can ssh to any of the systems and the host server via the WAN without any problems. But from within the LAN I can only access the host server with no errors... when I access the virtual systems I can connect but then the ssh connection is shortly disconnected with Bad packet length error.
Also noticed that I can't https:// to the web server from within the LAN either... only from the WAN.
Not really sure how to approach the problem.
