Hi All,
I want some users should be barred from login into some of NIS clients. Please help me to accomplish this. I googled it but still not very clear to me. Can you please tell me how it works. The OS is RHEL 5.
Thanks,
Deepak
Write clearly, and ask a clear question. Hard to tell what you're looking for. Are you wanting some users to not be able to log in? To certain machines, or all? From which machines, or all?? What have you tried/done??
We have a NIS master server and it has several clients. Till now, we used to create users on NIS master and they were allowed to login on any of the clients. But to make the security tight, we have decided to not to allow some users to login on some of the clients.
Very simple question, all users are there with NIS master server. They should not be allowed to login on some of the NIS clients.
I tried googling it but without success. Any hint from experts can solve my puzzle.
