Question Smoothwall orange nic

Hi

I am new to Linux in general but have just set up smoothwall on an old pc to use as a router/firewall.

Installation was straight forward and I was able to set up a 56k modem and the green network. The green nic is attached to an 8 port hub connecting 8 pc's. I am able to connect to the smoothwall consol from any of these computers and dial my ISP. The internet connection is stable and all appears well except for the orange network interface.

I have connected a single pc to the orange nic using a crossover cable but am unable to connect to the internet or the green network. I have read the appropriate manuals and documents but have had no luck. The Lan address of the green nic is 192.168.1.1 and the orange nic 192.168.0.1.

I have tried settings for port forwarding, External service access and DMZ pin holes without joy. I have spent hours searching the net and browsing this forum to no avail. I appreciate that the solution is probably very simple but being a newbie I would be greatlfull for any advice and asistance to resolve this problem.

regards

Mike
