First of all please make sure you know why you're running RHL 7.x series as it's not maintained.
Unless you use Fedora Core Legacy for updates or roll your own, you should upgrade to a current distro.

Find out if you're running Ipchains or Iptables. List the RPM package contents.
Usually the config file will reside in /etc/sysconfig, unless you write your own firewall scripts.
Tell us what service you need to provide access for.

Hi agent003, welcome to LQ.org!

If you are running iptables, then you can checkout Jay's Firewall. It's a console-based GUI for setting up a firewall. It requires ncurses and Perl.

And as always, unSpawn gives some excellent advice: RH 7.3 is pretty darned old, and a lot of exploits/vulnerabilities have been found that you need to be aware of.

Enjoy!
