mtree Linux Port

Hello everyone.

I try not to come here to ask questions ofton, but I am going crazy. I have just setup a new machine that is going to be used as a HTTP/SMTP Server, and the distro is SlackWare (My new baby named Clarity). The last time I setup a server like this, I did so using OpenBSD. That server is long dead now (RIP BlowFish), but I learned a lot while setting it up. I am a security freak, and a scripter/programmer. Thus, I loved the built in mtree. I made my own File Integrity Checker, that way I didn't have to use something as easy to see as "/etc/tripwire".

My problem right now is that I can't find the source, or a port, of mtree to Linux (SlackWare). I have honestly been looking for the past hour and a half, but I can't find anything. Does anyone know what I can do?

Any help would be wonderful, thank you for you time.

Regards,
Botzy

http://mirror.datapipe.net/gentoo/di...-pkgsrc.tar.gz

I belive it should compile on any distro, however this is the file that comes with Gentoo.

You'll want to extract it and compile the stuff in the mtree subdirectory.
