IPcop Orange and Green problem

Im trying to set op an ipcop with a dmz on but is it the best way to give the dmz a subnet for it self or can i put it in the same subnet as the green interface ?

And if got then it 2 diferent subnet's do I then need a DNS server to resolve request from the green network to the orange network ?

you'd really want a dmz on a seperate subnet, why wouldn't you? make things much much easier to manage. DNS has no impact on that whatsoever, it's operating at a totally different level.
