I somehow missed this thread; guess it's never too late to celebrate.
Nothing fancy to say, just that I'm really proud to be a part of LQ family and I'm sure I'll always be.
Every time I land on LQ I feel a little at home
and because LQ helped me often, do I like to help LQ.
Here is my feedback although I (Dutch) don't understand
what you mean with: "LQ will be updated to the next generation code platform".
LQ gave me practical answers in a friendly atmosphere.
I always arive at LQ redirected by Google or another site.
After I have done my job with LQ's help,
do I often like to surf around a little more in LQ
for some new/interesting/smart stuff.
To bad I always rapidly feel lost and leave LQ.
Searching works okay but just clicking around not,
not for me, sorry.
No other remarks so I thank LQ and wish it good luck.

Sincerely any linux question I wanted to ask was already answered with great discussions. With so much of topic and knowledge flooded in this site, I guess its time to change the title to "Linux Answers".

I'd say this means a new version of the forum software will be rolled out soon.

I imagine most new members search and ask questions about what they want to know and the more seasoned ones hunt for new threads or posts in their particular field of knowledge, for their favorite distribution or just 0-reply questions. It could be interesting to know how many regulars visit LQ and don't search but just click links...

I just saw this post, but belated happy birthday LQ!
Love this site I have spent a Lot of time here, and read a Lot of useful posts over the years, but I do think this is my first post here since I joined, but I have been coming here a long time B4 I joined .
Happy birthday, LQ!
None of you know who the hell I am, but I plan on getting involved very soon in the community.
12 years? It's obvious that this a solid site with people who know their stuff.
I've been having some problems running Linux, but I'm sure it's just n00b mistakes. I'm committed fully though to running Linux (absolutely no more Windows for me), so I'm hoping to stick around and celebrate next year for LQ's 13th b-day.
