I'd like to thank AZorin, who helped get the forum setup and will be participating on behalf of Zorin OS, along with Zorink and some additional Zorin OS contributors.
I have used Zorin. The desktop on the version I tried was similar to Windows XP but light in resource use.
So I have been playing around with Ubuntu 12.04 on a Samsung Chromebook--it works pretty good. I think I will see if I can get Zorin working on the thing and perhaps pick up some speed.
I am now using Zorin OS 7 Ultimate and I am extremely happy with it. I have installed it on my Lenovo computer in a 50/50 configuration with Windows 7 and it is a superior product. The speed is just great and it is working fine with all my equipment. I am using it right now, and only use Windows 7 to go to programs that do not have a Linux capable version. Thanks for mentioning Zorin.
