yahoo messenger and webcam support on SuSE 9.x


hello.

i'm a newbie in Linux and i've just installed SuSe 9.3 on my desktop. just want to ask how to install Yahoo Messenger with webcam support on my pc. i've tried the Gyach but every time i install it via rpm it says i can't install because a certain directory is locked *or something similar*

can anyone help? and one more thing, how am i to install a webcam driver. i'm using an a4-tech pk635 camera. thanks

Try Gaim.

And about the driver, better to stick with what your vendor provided. If there wasn't a Linux driver, try searching in Google Linux Search
