Yes, WineX can play windows games. I believe is is called 'WineX' because it can do DirectX 8.1 or something. It can't do 9.0, yet. WineX costs like $5 a month, but I have found it on the web for free and have gotten it, however, I do not know if it's okay to post a link or not so I will NOT post the link. You can also try using Wine, which is the free version and runs simple applications and SOME games.

It does work fine with Mandrake 9.1. After you download it, you have to set it up. Let us know when you get to that phase if you can't figure it out.
