where to find "linuxthreads" add-on?

Ok I am a newbie and I am probably trying to do too much too soon but...

I am using RH7.0 and I am trying to upgrade gnome to version 1.4. It has a dependancy of glibc 2.2.3. I have downloaded glibc 2.2.5. When I run ./configure for glibc I get an error...

On GNU/Linux systems it is normal to compile GNU libc with the 'linuxthreads' add-on.....

What is "linuxthreads add-on?

Where do I find it?

Help!!

Thanks

linuxthreads is as you may have guessed the thread implementation that Linux uses. This should help:
