Since most drivers use the MAKE command to compile the source, I just realized that my Mandrake Linux 8.2 doesn't have that! Which package do I install to get that feature? Thanks.
BTW, my second post as a newbie! W00t!
To install from KDE or GNOME you go on the 'Mandrake Control Centre' and click 'System'. Then click 'Software manager'.
Now type in 'make' and double click the make option on the list below. now click 'Install/Remmove' and it will ask for a install disk. Insert the disk and click OK.
You are now done!

Thanks! Oh, btw, which package is the "run" command in? I'm trying to install my SBlive now, and it's not going too well manually. And I wanted to use the Run sblive_audio

Also look if you have gcc installed. It'll be also needed.

What do you mean "run". Are you referring to the disc that came with your card? And you are trying to execute the setup.exe program?
