what version am i running

sorry about not knowing exactly how to get this but.....i don't trust the rpm query command:

rpm -qa | grep apache

as a direct version command on apps directly. not to mention i get more info on exact version on apache with this command:

httpd -v

i was needing to know what versions of apache, linux, php, mysql, ssh, and postfix i'm running. i've tried to find out what version of most of those are and i haven't found one that i'm satisfied with except apache. does anyone else know of commands, other than grep-ing "rpm -qa", that will tell me what version of the above list i'm running. not to mention at times i've searched for things and found out i was running a different version (or it seemed i was) than what was listed in the rpm query. can anybody give me a hand? thnx
