what distros offer a USB image as an option


Hey there, does anyone know what distros offer a USB image as an option uther than an iso. i don't like using unetbootin

Hello RedNeck-LQ, welcome to LQ,

Slackware is what you're looking for ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/slackwar...xe-installers/ you can copy the usbboot.img onto the usb-drive with the dd-command, it works very well.

i think pretty much all major distros have a live-usb iso.
