Using Nokia phone 3110c as USB modem on Fedora 9

hi ,
I'm trying to use my Nokia 3110c as usb modem.
I modified the wvdial.conf.
To connect , I'm using KPPP , there it is connecting successfully.
But thru Firefox or Konquerer , I'm not able to browse any site.
I've ensured browser's internet settings. They seems to be okay...could there be any firewall or some other issue???
