Hi all,
I have sony ericsson z550i phone in which i have a active GPRS connection. I tried to configure the phone as modem through usb data cable and also through bluetooth. I have bluetooth manager installed which searches my mobile device but when i try to explore the device, i didnt get any response from my system. Alternate i tried to access my mobile though data cable, but i dont have a driver for this. Guide me in installing my mobile as modem. thanks in advance
I'm not sure about your phone, but my attempts with Nokia and Sharp phones all failed. I believe that the "modem" is only for data backup purposes. Getting an access to the Internet via this so-called modem is probably impossible. Unfortunately, all the software is for Windoze.
If anyone else proves otherwise, I will rush out and buy this model!
