Use Proxy Server in Fedora ?


I want to use proxy server in fedora 14.
I dont know how to do it.
Can somebody tell me the solution ???????

Ok, are you trying to set up a proxy server? Or are you trying to use a proxy server to browse the internet? You need to be more specific when asking questions on LQ. If anything, read the "How to ask a smart question" link in my signature (nothing bad intended towards you, just trying to help).

Man, I just want to use proxy server for surfing on the internet.....

have you looked in the configurations of you webbrowser?

i used to configure my proxy settings in the config section of my webbrowser, but i don't know if that's what you're after

So ask the right questions. Just configure your browser, this has nothing at all to do with fedora itself, just your browser choice.
