unable to send mail using Mail command


Hi all,

I am trying to send mail using command line(Mail and sendmail),
The procedure i followed is :

$sudo /sbin/chkconfig sendmail on
$sudo /sbin/service sendmail restart
$Mail -v naveen@galieosoft.com

Subject: hi
fdsfsdfdsfdsf

But i am not able to receive the mail. Please guide me any other steps i need to follow to achieve this.

The server for galieosoft.com is possibly rejecting the mail because it is being send from localhost.localdomain.

Check your maillog and see what happens on your side.

Hi,

How do i check the logs?
do i need check the logs of naveen@galieosoft.com ?
Is there any possibility to change from localhost.localdomain to any other servers?
