How to uninstall ubuntu 10.10 from windows vista dual boot system?

Well, you can do it manually (removing partitions + resizing Windows' one, then reinstalling Windows' MBR)...

...or you could use this guide which links you to a nice programme (BootIt) that does it for you, and explains how to use the programme to uninstall Ubuntu.

Did you install via Wubi, or you you boot from the CD and install that way?

In addition to Snark1994's post you could boot a Windows installation disk, select the recovery console, and run fixmbr and/or fixboot. That will write the Windows boot code into the disk's MBR. This may or may not be available if you only have a factory restore CD from the computer's manufacturer. It is available on a generic Windows installation CD that you would purchase separately.

tacticalbread asks a good question that I hadn't considered. My instructions would not apply if you are running Linux as a Windows application via wubi or something similar.
