Replace Vista with Ubuntu in a Vista/Fedora dual boot

I have a Vista/Fedora(FC11) dual boot and would like to replace the Vista partition with Ubuntu. Is there an easy way to do this? Can I just pop in the Ubuntu install disk and replace the Vista partition? Will the grub2 bootloader automatically detect Fedora?

My "df -l" output is below

/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00
43263128 37912488 3117504 93% /
/dev/sda5 202219 69122 133097 35% /boot
tmpfs 2055248 484 2054764 1% /dev/shm
/dev/sda2 61440588 48835840 12604748 80% /media/Windows
/dev/sda4 117756444 103113960 14642484 88% /media/Users
/dev/sda7 10080488 8798528 769892 92% /media/vbox

Yes, it probably will. Just pop in the Ubuntu disk, and when you get to the partition stage, select "Configure partitions manually (advanced)" or equivalent option, then opt to format your Windows Vista partition as ext4 and, in the "Mount Point" box, type a single '/'. Then, click "Install now".

I have formatted the Windows partition and I can put the "Boot loader" in the same partition. Will this boot loader automatically scan the system and find my fedora installations (and give the option to boot in to Fedora)?
Thanks

You don't put the boot loader on the partition, you put it on the whole device (the Master Boot Record). It is GRUB, and it usually will recognize the Fedora partition.
