Testing the wireless network security using backtrack

Hi!
I have installed a "backtrack 4" in order to test the the wireless network security of my router.
Coiuld anyone give me some clues of how and which commands would be needed. Also, do I need to install airodump into the host?
Thanks.

This is a very broad topic, what exactly are you looking to test? What forms of security are currently in place?
