suid or nosuid? overrides nfs server?


Hi, what is suid or nosuid and would it override nfs server? I really don't know what this all means. whats the difference?

Hi,

Nosuid is a very unsafe way to do things this is why suid is the default mount option. If you set nosuid when you mount, it could mean users have write/read access to root only data, which you would not want.
