Okay ill get right to the point i'm sure most people here know winamp on windows well you know how you can connect to peoples radios and listen to them play music and talk all of this being live right well I want to be able to do that I heard xmms Has somthing that can do that but i'm confused anway I have a firend that has his own radio server he does it with shoutcast but I want to be able to listen to him please if anyone knows..
Tell me please :P
or give me some links to a good plugin or a good program that will be able to do that thnx!!!!!
well its actually the same as winamp
the first button on the bottom left corner of the playlist you hold it down till the little list pops up, and the topmost option is "+ URL"
in lamens terms meaning add a url, and you just copy/paste or type the url, and you will be able to listen.
Okay thats great everything worked except one thing.........
when I went after I put in the URL a message box popped up and said somthing about there policies then it said that in ReDHat the removed MP3 support I Guess that also means streaming mp3s this i cannot listen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh umm would you happen to know were I could get winex for free?
