Strange looking terminal in kde

Dear all,

i have a strange looking terminal in kde. eventhough, i change to terminal schema and apply the schema, but then, it cannot take the effect of changing.

for example, i go to Settings>Configure Konsole>schema. Then, i choose a certain schema, then, apply.

weird, the thing cannot work at all.

i didn't see any option like this in the Configure Konsole.

To elaborate more, the font is also a bit weird, something like not clean up when i press the backspacem key.
