Me again...

Could someone post a list of startup files that are used in Red Hat which can be configured for personal settings. I don't know if there are a lot but whichever main ones a newbie would want to look at.

just let ure curiosity run wild & explore ure box.
system-wide configs are in /etc and personal config files are in ure home dir. they usually start/end or have "rc" or "conf" in their name & when theyre in ure home dir they tend to start with a dot. *just dont forget to backup configs before ure editing where no user has boldly edited before :-]
