You need to provide way more information than that if you want anyone to be able to help you.

Useful information would include, but probably not be limited to:

- The version of SquirrelMail you are using.

- The full and exact wording of the error message you are seeing.

- Details of the circumstances under which the error message occurs.

In addition to the information requested above, can you tell us whether the IMAP server is accepting connections from other mail clients?
