Question Squid Authentication System

Hi,

I want to develop one scenario for my Company regarding Broad Band usage on linux. In my company everyone access the net through squid. I want to access every people this net through trusted User/Password logins through squid. Means I need the authentication system which will applies for net usage to each client. Also Please tell me any good tool for total net usage per IP on linux.

Thanks.

Regards,
Ashwin.

This doesn't make sense, what has the IP got to do with it if you are using usernames and passwords?? Authentication and Accounting are totally seperate things, an auth system will never tell you how much traffic came from a client, it's none of it's business. maybe you just want something like sarg?
