Some partitions not appearing under the internal disk menu

Hie all

I'm new to Linux and I've installed Deepin 15.7. There's a partition I can't seem to find anymore under the internal disk menu where other partitions appear. The file system of the partition is ext4. However, I can see the partition when I open GParted. Is there anyway I can rectify this without having to lose my files on that partition?

Thank you for your assistance.

Are you able to access it when you manually create a mount point and mount the filesystem on the partition? If not, what happens warnings/error messages when you try? Also, is this partition on the same physical drive as the OS?

Yes thank you Yancek for the mounting idea. I've created a mount point and named it hdd by using sudo mkdir /media/ike/hdd then manually mounted it. Now I can see my partition but under external drives and I've recovered my files.
